ECPN Conversations II
Series Dates: July 28th, 2020
ECPN CCRR stream pedagogists, Amy Andress, working in Abbotsford, and Jiyeon Kim, working in Surrey and Delta, will lead Conversations II. They will explore the concept of curriculum making with atelierista Sylvia Kind and pedagogista Cristina Delgado Vintimilla.
Andress and Kim will engage in a dialogue with Sylvia Kind and Cristina Delgado Vintimilla to think curriculum as a form of making. The conversations will focus on Kind and Delgado Vintimilla’s invention of alternative curricular trajectories in early childhood education.
Dr. Sylvia Kind is a faculty member in the School of Education and Childhood Studies at Capilano University, and an atelierista at the Capilano University Children’s Centre. Her work explores early childhood studio research.
Dr. Cristina Delgado Vintimilla is an assistant professor in the Faculty of Education at York University, and holds a Master in Pedagogy and Educational Sciences from the University of Siena, Italy. Until recently, she was the pedagogista at Capilano University Children’s Centre.
